Past Union Speaks Events
Human Trafficking Simulation
In January 2016, the Socially Conscious Committee along with UGA's Breaking the Shackles and End It Movement was able to create a simulation for students so they could see Human Trafficking firsthand. Student actors created scenes to portray what millions are living each and every day. At the end of the three simulations students were asked to share their thoughts about the event and introduced to several nonprofits whose mission it is to end human trafficking.
