Four Committees, One Organization

University Union is comprised of four different committes that are lead by student Directors, as well as a President, Vice Presidents for External and Internal Affairs. Union's committees plan a variety of events from concerts to comedy shows, film screenings to lectures, and late night to diverse programs. Click on the "Learn more" tab on each committee to learn more about their past events!

Cinematic Arts Committee

The Cinematic Arts Committee provides programs, promotion, and implementation of a series of films in Tate Theatre, as well as special events in Tate Theatre and around the UGA campus.  

The Cinematic Arts Committee meets Tuesdays at 6:45 pm in Tate 137.

Entertainment Committee

The Entertainment Committee provides pop-culture programming ranging from live performances by small and internationally known artists, comedians, and UGA talent to homegrown evets, such as dances, video game contests, and more!  

The Entertainment Committee meets Tuesdays at 5:30 pm in Tate 137.

Late Night Committee

The Late Night Committee plans events that typically take place after 9 pm to provide a fun and safe environment for UGA students, such as Dawgs After Dark, Bingo, Paint and Pour and more!

The Late Night Committee meets Tuesdays at 5:30 pm in Tate 141.   


Union Speaks Committee

The Union Speaks Committee provides programs and activities for the campus community that reflect the cultural contributions of individuals from diverse identities and enrich the student experience by encouraging dialogue about engaging issues.
